Techstars runs accelerator programmes across Africa in partnership with corporate sponsors, providing $120,000 in funding (comprising a $20,000 stipend and $100,000 convertible note) in exchange for 6% equity. Startups receive 13 weeks of intensive mentorship, access to the Techstars global network of 10,000+ founders, investors, and mentors. Programmes have run in cities including Nairobi, Lagos, and Cape Town.
