DBN channels long-term wholesale funding to SMEs through its network of Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) including commercial banks, microfinance banks, and development finance institutions. Loans carry single-digit interest rates and tenors of up to 10 years, targeted at micro, small, and medium enterprises in all sectors. DBN also provides partial credit guarantees to reduce collateral burden on SME borrowers.
