How applications are selected
What reviewers look for
Madica prioritises founders who are not simultaneously running a fundraising process — they want your full operational attention during the programme. Having at least a handful of paying customers is the clearest signal of market validation; this matters more than revenue size. The SAFE instrument means there is no fee and no cohort pressure — founders who need patient, long-horizon support are the best fit. Team quality and founder resilience are weighted heavily; Madica looks for operators, not pitch artists. Startups that have received significant institutional VC backing before are generally ineligible — this programme is for very early-stage companies. Guide written from the official programme page. Funders change their rules, so confirm the details on the official page before you apply.
